Seattle hotel recommendations - safe and well-rated
Safety tips for Seattle :
‣ Like Los Angeles and San Francisco, Seattle has a serious homeless problem
. ‣ Homeless people in Seattle are scattered all over the city, but the largest number is on '3rd Ave' ( the dark red line in the picture below ).
Well-received hotels: Hotel A - citizenM | Hotel B - Staypineapple | Hotel C - Gaslight Inn.
Attractions: Seattle Travel Guide.
Travel Tips :
‣ It is okay to walk past the strange crowds on '3rd Ave' during the day.
‣ It is also safe to walk in the scenic areas of the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, but it is recommended to take the light rail/taxi between the two places
. ‣ It is recommended to take a taxi/drive back to the hotel directly after dark.
Where to stay is safe :
Generally speaking, if you drive/take a taxi when you go out, you can stay anywhere.
However:
‣ If you drive, it is recommended to choose a hotel with a dedicated parking lot. Although the parking fee is expensive, it is not scary to come back at night...
‣ If you take a taxi, it is recommended to read the hotel reviews carefully. You will find that some hotels have homeless people wandering around for a long time, and even using hotel facilities? ! There are also very few reviews of guests being attacked/robbed.
I checked many hotels and the map location/Google reviews. In the city, I found the following 3 hotels with high ratings + many reviews + guests' reviews of the surrounding area being safe + almost no homeless passing by. If you still feel scared, you can only stay in the more distant Bellevue area ( it's not immune to homeless, but the number is much smaller )

Bellevue
It is about 11 miles from the city center, a 20-minute drive.
If you can't stand the downtown Seattle, welcome to Bellevue, which is relatively safe and has a relatively high cost-effective hotel ( because it is on the east side of Seattle, it is nicknamed East Yatu, there are many Asians in the community, and the police force is relatively sufficient ). Both hotels have free parking.
