How to Get to Las Vegas

There are direct flights between Las Vegas and major cities.
The airport is Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
, which is about 15 minutes away from downtown. It costs about $25 to take an Uber/Lyft.
You can also drive from Los Angeles and San Francisco. Please refer to:
How to get from Los Angeles to Las Vegas , How to get from San Francisco to Las Vegas

Hotels in Las Vegas

Las Vegas has too many visitors, so most hotels are either expensive, dirty, or old...
The following three recommendations are based on the following principles: 1. Must be clean + Not too old 2. Service OK 3. Location and price match:

[Landmark] Bellagio Resort Hotel ★★★★★ 8.4 points 9701 reviews +
Landmark hotel, with a musical fountain at the door and Cirque du Soleil's O show inside [High balance] Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip ★★★★ 8.6 points 4750 reviews + Hotel apartment, clean and fully equipped, 5-10 minutes drive from the core area of Las Vegas Street [Value for money] Hampton Inn Las Vegas Strip South ★★★ 9.1 points 1175 reviews + Although it is 20 minutes drive from the core area, the room price is low! New facilities! Very high value for money For more recommendations, see " Las Vegas Accommodation Guide "

How to Play in Las Vegas

If you are visiting Las Vegas for the first time , you should stay at least 3-4 nights. Here are some tips:
Morning: sleep in/eat breakfast in Chinatown/go to nearby attractions ( Seven Magic Mountains/Valley of Fire, etc. )
Afternoon: go shopping at hotels such as the Venetian/play at Omega Mart /experience live-fire shooting , etc.
Evening:
‣Ride the Ferris wheel to watch the big ball or helicopter to see the night view
‣Watch a show - if you are watching for the first time, you can choose the O show without any hesitation ; if you are with your kids, you can watch magic ; if you are young, you can watch the topless show
‣Eat a buffet ( dinner options are generally more abundant )
‣Go to Fremont Street to watch the sky dome/street performances
6.png

If you want to go to nearby places :
If you have enough time, you can refer to the guide to the loop of the national parks in the western United States
If time is limited, you can refer to the self-driving/one-day tour method from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and the self-driving/one-day tour method from Vegas to the Antelope Canyon

Transportation in Las Vegas

If you are going to major hotels/airports/city attractions, you can:

Self-drive
Most large hotels charge $20-25 per day for parking ( Self Parking )

Use Uber or Lyft ( most practical )
$10-15 to go to most places
You can get on and off at the hotel entrance or designated Rideshare Pick-Up Location
* Although taxis are more convenient, the cost is twice that of Uber. The double-decker

Deuce on The Strip
has stops at most hotels/attractions
Ticket price: $4/single, $8/day ticket, $20/three-day ticket
Frequency: 10-15 minutes per bus, 24-hour operation
Route map: See here
Ticket purchase: Please download the rideRTC app to purchase tickets, just scan the code when you get on the bus
Disadvantages: Long waiting time, and you have to walk for a while in the hot sun when getting on and off the bus
Recommended video: Best way to Get Around the Las Vegas Other options in Strip include Monorail , which costs $6 for a one-way trip and $15 for 24 hours. However, the stations are hard to find, with few road signs and a lot of walking required. In addition, the vehicles are not well maintained and occasionally break down, such as the doors not opening when arriving at the station. There are also two free but unconnected tram routes in Las Vegas. Route 1 Mandalay Bay Tram: EXCALIBUR - LUXOR - MANDALAY BAYRoute 2 Aria Express: Park MGM - Chrystals - Bellagio

1. Helicopter night view

Fly over the Las Vegas Strip and overlook the glittering lights and extravagance of the world.

There are two companies operating this project :

‣ 5 Star Company - Las Vegas Helicopter Night Flight
Adults start at US$99, 5045 reviews, reservation required .
The aircraft used is the Airbus AStar AS 350 B2 model, designed in 1975, mostly used by the Air Force/Police

‣ Maverick Company - as Vegas Strip Helicopter Night Flight
Adults start at US$99, 1360 reviews, reservation required .
The aircraft used is the Airbus EC-130 model, designed in 1999, mostly used for tourism/medical transportation

Is it worth taking : Worth it! If you want to see the night view in New York, it will cost 300 US dollars...
How long does it take : It takes about 1.5 hours in total ( transportation + waiting + explanation + flight ), and the actual flight time is about 8 minutes
. Others :
‣ A photo ID is required for boarding the plane, and you must arrive on time ( especially Maverick, no rebooking/refund for late arrival )
‣ You can take photos/videos at will during the flight, but photos with the helicopter must be purchased separately‣
There are 6 passengers on the helicopter, and seats are assigned according to height/weight ( the middle seat is small, and tall people will be very uncomfortable; you need to be weighed before flight to ensure the balance of the helicopter ). Only the front right side has the best view. Students who are good at social work can try to get it; for students who care about the field of view, it is recommended to buy Maverick 's tour. I have read a lot of reviews, and the bad reviews given by its company due to 'field of view' are obviously more than 5 Stars.some
