Is the Seattle CityPass worth buying?
Assuming you are an adult, assume you arrange the following 5 items ( most people's choice ):
☑ Space Needle
☑ Seattle Aquarium
☑ Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour
☑ Museum of Pop Culture MoPOP
☑ Museum of Glass (Chihuly Exhibition) Chihuly Garden and Glass
The price of buying tickets separately is :
Space Needle Day/Night Ticket = US$70.88
Seattle Aquarium = US $54
Argosy Cruises = US$ 43
Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) = US$30
Museum of Glass (Chihuly Exhibition) = US$39.75
The total cost is: US$237.63, while CityPass sells for US$129, you save US$108.63
But:
I think the special attractions are only:
Space Needle + Museum of Glass + Museum of Pop Culture
Among them, Space Needle + The Glass Museum also has a $68 package ( but only one trip to the tower, not a morning or evening ticket ) .
The total ticket price for the three is only $98.
If you are willing to spend an extra $31 to buy a CityPass , you can get:
1. An extra chance to go up the Space Needle - see the city view during the day and the night view at night
2. A one-hour Argosy cruise - worth taking if the weather is good, you can see the Seattle skyline from the sea
3. Seattle Aquarium - a new museum opened in 24 years, but it is also a tourist attraction that is not worth paying for separately. You can only go there with a Pass~
If you think it is worth it, then Seattle CityPass is a good choice! ( Click to buy )
